Meet The Team

Ashley Yaldo: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (She/Her)

Founder & Owner | ABC Behavioral Mental Health

As the founder and owner of ABC Behavioral Mental Health, I have dedicated my career to helping children, adolescents, and young adults navigate the complexities of their emotions, behaviors, and mental health. With a background in both the family court system and children’s residential care, I bring a wealth of experience in understanding the unique challenges young people face.

My experience in a variety of settings with diverse groups of people has fueled my passion for helping others reach their full potential. Working as a private practice clinician since 2019, I realized there was an urgent need for tailored, compassionate support in a world that is constantly changing. That realization led me to open my practice, where I specialize in guiding children, teens, and their families through the difficulties of anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, Autism, behavioral issues, and educational challenges. My approach is rooted in building a strong, trusting relationship, where I meet my clients exactly where they are emotionally and work collaboratively to help them achieve their goals—one step at a time.

Parenting can be difficult, and it’s okay to not have all the answers. With the right support, it doesn’t have to be a journey you take alone. I’m here to help you and your loved ones navigate the road ahead. I specialize in working with both parents and children to strengthen connections, foster understanding, and create actionable strategies that lead to positive change. By helping my clients identify their strengths and focus on their potential, I guide them toward lasting emotional growth and resilience.

I take an integrated approach, blending evidence-based practices like Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with holistic methods that treat the whole person. Every individual is unique, and I believe in crafting personalized treatment plans that empower my clients to overcome challenges and thrive.

Molly McMahon: LMSW, IMH-E (She/Her)

Therapist and Infant Mental Health Specialist

Parenting is one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs there is, and we often find ourselves wondering if we’re doing it “right.” Sometimes, these wonderings can lead us to have feelings of confusion, worry, fear, sadness, and even desperation. They may even remind us of our own childhoods and the kind of parenting we experienced growing up. Just as we adults can feel lost, worried, or confused, so can our children. Whether it’s adjusting to a life change or just navigating being a little kid in a big world, our littlest ones need strong, kind, and wise parents to help us organize their experiences and help them grow into strong, healthy individuals.

I specialize in working with parents and their very young children ages zero to six to foster their unique relationships with one another and build strong, secure, and lasting connections. My approach is rooted in a belief that the most important thing that a child needs to support their physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development is a safe and secure relationship with their parents. I am adept at helping children experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and stress-related disorders, behavioral concerns, and other developmental concerns. Even though my specialty population is very young children and parents, my approach and skills are also very effective with most pre-adolescent children. I am also skilled at assisting parents and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and infant loss, and other mental health concerns.

I have extensive training in child development from pregnancy and birth through age six, treating mental health concerns in both parents and children, and strengthening the parent-child relationship to promote positive outcomes. I utilize an integrative approach in my work with children and their parents, including attachment- and psychodynamic-based approaches, as well as play therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and family therapies. I partner with you, listen to your hopes and concerns, and collaborate with you, or you and your child, to achieve your goals. Together, we’ll cut through all the noise and discover what is needed to strengthen you, as parents, and your child, as individuals, and in your connections with one another.

I have over 15 years of clinical practice working with kids, teens and adults (and their families) to address specific needs and work with each person to help find the solution that works best.

Life is full of transitions and challenges. Sometimes the small things build up over time and become a big thing or a huge change happens all at once. The focus of my practice continues to guide teens, parents of teens and adults through changes and challenges, no matter the size. I believe in fostering a supportive environment for an individual (of any age) to explore their dreams and challenge their barriers.

I use an integrated approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Strengths Based Initiatives to treat the whole person in their environment.
